Lauren graduated with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Dalhousie University in 2021. Originally from Newfoundland, she spent a number of years working in the school board in Nova Scotia. She recently moved back home to Pasadena, NL and is excited to support families in her hometown.
Lauren loves working with preschool and school-age children, with a special interest in speech and articulation difficulties. She uses a play-based approach and is always thinking of new ways to make therapy fun and engaging!
Lauren is certified in It Takes Two to Talk®, a Hanen coaching program for parents of children with language delays. She is also one of few NLA (Natural Language Acquisition) trained clinicians in NL, which means she is able to support clients who are gestalt language processors (e.g., echolalia, scripting) - a common type of language development for autistic children.
